Dates

ForgeHacks 2027 will take place from March 12–14, 2027, at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Participants will have 36 hours to build and submit their projects.

Project and Submission Requirements

Projects must be started and developed during the hackathon.
Projects must include a physical hardware component.
Teams may use existing libraries, frameworks, and open-source resources, but must disclose any pre-existing work.
All projects must be submitted through Devpost before the submission deadline.
Submissions must include a project description and supporting documentation, such as photos or a demo video.
Teams must present their projects to judges during the judging period.

Code of Conduct

All ForgeHacks participants, mentors, volunteers, and organizers must abide by the Major League Hacking (MLH) Code of Conduct.

We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Violations may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
